Reporting to the Project Manager, our LEV Testing and Service Engineer role plays a key role in delivering high-quality dust and fume extraction solutions for our customers across the UK.

You’ll bring strong industry knowledge of testing and maintenance, great people skills, and a desire to contribute as part of a growing, friendly team.

Summary of role:

The LEV Testing and Service Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the testing and maintenance of LEV systems, extraction systems and dust collectors, as part of a team of engineers.

This position will feature site travel across the UK as and when required.

What you’ll be doing:

Carrying out LEV testing to HSG258

Ensuring all test equipment is calibrated at regular intervals and maintaining records thereof

Ensuring that all test equipment is in good working order and arranging repair/replacement as required

To produce professional reports for the customer detailing test results and actions required

To service filter units and other various LEV Systems, carrying out filter changes where necessary

To produce professional Service Reports

What we’re looking for:

Positive attitude, and a desire to contribute as part of a team

Strong people skills

Proficiency with hand and power tools, ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics, and knowledge of engineering principles related to ventilation and air flow

Strong understanding of industrial ventilation and air handling systems, relevant safety legislation, and quality control standards

The ability to lift heavy components, work at heights or in confined spaces, and bend or kneel as needed
