We are hiring: Area Sales Manager for South West / West Midlands

Reporting to the Sales Director, our Area Sales Manager role is central to building and maintaining our customer relationships in the South West / West Midlands.

You’ll bring strong sales experience, technical knowledge of dust extraction or a related industry, familiarity with health and safety regulations, and good relationship management.

Summary of role:

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, and generating new business opportunities in the South West / West Midlands. This role will include client site visits during sales enquiries, and preparing quotes for LEV systems, extraction systems and dust collectors.

This position can be home-based with office and site travel as required.

What you’ll be doing:

Meeting with current and potential customers

Advising on products

Generating new business

Meeting key sales targets

Coordinating with the project engineers and installation team to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards

Attending exhibitions to promote APS’ solutions to a trade and regional audience

What we’re looking for:

Positive attitude, and a desire to contribute as part of a team

Strong people skills, with an ability to build and maintain key relationships with customers

Someone based in the South West or West Midlands

Desirable:

Qualifications – a degree qualification in engineering or a related field is a benefit but not essential

Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Salary and package offered:

Salary: Competitive (range to be confirmed), with bonus available
